Couloir Gear was founded with the sole goal of making your time on the mountain more comfortable. Our design methodology is simple: add comfort and ease to the small moments on the slopes. Our team brings years of experience on the mountains to the production floor to bring you innovative and genuinely useful products. We design, manufacture, and distribute our products in house and proudly make everything here in the USA.

    Jake runs the design and engineering side of Couloir Gear. He has extensive experience in product design and manufacturing in a variety of industries. Every Couloir Gear product has been designed and pressure tested by Jake personally to ensure life long use.

  • Michael Gilbert

    Michael brings years of experience as a high-level skier to Couloir. He has skied all over the United States and spends most of his season in Wasatch Mountain Range. The mind behind the original Couloir Clip, Michael's input into our products has brought comfort to thousands on the mountain.
